rain has no Gauteng phone line of its own. Every one of its seven Gauteng stores lists the national Customer Engagement Centre number, 081 610 1000, which rain also names as its WhatsApp channel. rain’s structured data for Queenswood lists Sunday as 09:00 to 17:00, while the locator shows 09:00 to 14:00. Shop numbers also differ between the two data sets for Rand Steam and Dhlamini Junction, so we have left them out. All seven stores list public holiday hours. Queenswood and Cambridge Crossing open at 08:00 on public holidays, and the other five open at 09:00.

rain’s terms list its stores as one of the official rain channels, alongside the website, the app, sales agents and the Customer Engagement Centre. You can place an order in a store, but rain says SIM cards and devices are delivered to the address you give. A customer without a South African ID completes face-to-face RICA with the courier on delivery. rain’s current products are unlimited 5G home wifi, unlimited mobile on the LoopPhone, rainOne Unlimited and the loop portable router and speaker.
rain sells unlimited home wifi by availability at a specific address, so check your address before you buy. To cancel, rain accepts a request through the Customer Engagement Centre or another designated rain channel. Routers stay rain’s property and must be returned.
