Its hardware return article gives support@vox.co.za, while the Help Centre lists support@voxtelecom.co.za; we show the Help Centre address. Vox publishes no fibre-only phone number.

Product or service support
Vox is an internet service provider that resells fibre to the home across South Africa’s fibre network operators, including Openserve, Frogfoot, Vumatel, Octotel and others, depending on who has built in your street. Vox orders the line from that operator. The operator lays fibre to your boundary, runs it into the home and connects it to a device that depends on the operator, and Vox then sends an auto-provisioned Wi-Fi router that you can install yourself. Vox puts installation at around 14 working days once the operator confirms the home is ready, and sends progress updates by SMS and email; you can also check the order in the Customer Zone.
Before reporting a fault, check the network outages page for a known problem in your area.
Eligibility, account or policy requirements
- Home fibre is month to month, and changing or cancelling needs one clear calendar month’s written notice. Vox says a request on the 1st of a month does not count as a full month.
- Cancelling within 12 months of activation, or falling into arrears, brings a cancellation fee that depends on the fibre provider.
- Written cancellations are accepted only from the authorised contact person on the account.
- Fibre cannot move with you: moving house means cancelling and placing a new order, and the new address may be on a different network.
- The free-to-use router stays Vox property. After cancelling, complete the Manual Returns Form so Vox can book a free courier collection; unreturned equipment is billed at full replacement value.
Escalation route
- Log the fault on 087 805 0500, WhatsApp or live chat, and write down the ticket number Vox gives you.
- If it drags on, email talk2us@voxtelecom.co.za with your account number, ticket number and a short timeline.
- For a complaint Vox does not resolve, the telecoms regulator ICASA takes consumer complaints at consumer@icasa.org.za and on 012 568 3000.
The Vox Help Centre also links to the Internet Service Providers’ Association (ISPA) code of conduct, which is worth reading before you escalate.
