Imperial Lane is a cross-border coach operator running between South Africa and Zimbabwe. It publishes separate numbers for each office, and one detail is worth knowing before you dial: both of its Johannesburg offices share a single telephone number, so you have to say which one you mean.

Official contact channels

The 067 number is offered for WhatsApp as well as calls, which is the practical route if you are messaging from Zimbabwe and would rather not pay for an international call. The 010 number reaches the Johannesburg team on a landline.

Additional ticket office numbers for smaller Zimbabwean offices are published on the operator own offices page. They are not repeated here because the page does not label which office each one belongs to, and a number attached to the wrong branch is worse than no number.

Secure parking at the depots is the detail worth planning around if you are leaving a car behind for a multi-day trip. It is listed at the Bulawayo and Harare hubs rather than at the smaller ticket offices.

Because one number serves both Johannesburg offices, open with which office you need. Rissik Street at Park Station and Simmonds Street in Braamfontein are different departure points, and turning up at the wrong one with a booked seat is an easy mistake to make.

That last point causes most of the disputes on this kind of route. A coach operator sells you transport, not entry to another country, so check your document requirements well before travel rather than at the border post.
