inDrive does not publish a telephone number or a support email address. Contact runs through a support form on its website and through in-app support, with separate help sections for passengers, drivers and couriers.
Official contact channels
- Support form: on the inDrive website, at indrive.com/en-za/contacts/support
- Help centre sections: Passengers, Drivers, Couriers and bikes, App issues, Support and safety, About inDrive, Other questions
- Partnerships and supplier enquiries: separate published forms
- Security vulnerability reports: through the HackerOne platform
- Law enforcement requests: a separate published form
The support form asks for the subject, your name, country, preferred response language, the service involved, a phone number, an email address and a comment, and allows up to three file uploads. Screenshots are worth attaching, because a trip dispute is usually resolved on evidence rather than description.
Numbers circulating for inDrive on directory sites are not published by inDrive itself, and this page does not repeat them.
What this organisation provides
inDrive is a ride-hailing and delivery platform operating city rides, city-to-city rides, courier delivery and freight delivery. Its distinguishing feature is that passengers propose a fare and drivers accept, counter or decline it, rather than the platform setting the price.
For anything concerning a specific trip, in-app support is the practical route rather than the web form. The app already knows which trip you mean, who the driver was and what was charged β reconstructing that through a form takes considerably longer.
The separate help sections matter because the same incident looks different from each side. A driver’s query about earnings and a passenger’s query about a charge on the same trip are handled by different teams.
Address and operating information
inDrive does not publish a South African office address, contact centre hours or a local telephone number. It is a global platform, and the country field on its support form is what routes an enquiry to the team covering your market.
The published law enforcement form and the HackerOne vulnerability route are deliberately separate from customer support, so those requests do not pass through the general queue.
Support and escalation routes
Report a safety incident through the app’s safety features at the time rather than afterwards, and use the support and safety help section for follow-up. For a fare dispute, raise it promptly while the trip record is recent.
Have the trip date, time, pickup and drop-off, and the amount charged. If you have the driver’s name or vehicle details, include them β but never publish or share another person’s details more widely.
E-hailing in South Africa falls under the National Land Transport Act, and operating licences are issued provincially. Where a complaint concerns the conduct of a driver or the safety of a vehicle rather than the app, the provincial regulatory entity for public transport is the relevant authority, and criminal matters should go to the South African Police Service.
