What this organisation provides
These three channels are the whole published contact structure. Makro prints the same number, WhatsApp line and mailbox against every single store on its store finder, so there is no branch number for a stokvel to call and no separate desk to be transferred to. Group and bulk purchasing is handled in store on the same terms as any other purchase.
Address and operating information
The contact centre trades Monday to Saturday from 08:00 to 17:00, and on Sundays and public holidays from 09:00 to 16:00. It is closed on Good Friday, Christmas Day and New Year Day, and on the Day of Goodwill it closes at 14:00. Those closures matter for stokvel groups, because the December buying period runs straight through two of them.
Support and escalation routes
Head office is at 16 Peltier Drive, Sunninghill, Sandton 2157, trading Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00 and closed at weekends. Makro trades twenty three stores nationally plus twenty three liquor stores, so a stokvel outside those catchments is buying at distance rather than at a local branch.
