The Unisa Cape Town campus runs every service off a single telephone number and separates them by menu option, so the option you choose matters as much as the number you dial.

Address

Each service also has its own mailbox: [email protected] for student administration, [email protected] for academic support, [email protected] for the main library, [email protected] for the mobile library and [email protected] for counselling. Note that the main library and the mobile library share option 3 on the telephone but have separate mailboxes, so email is the more precise route between those two.

Services at this location

Unisa describes its regional centres as places to get advice, meet other students, use university services, speak to counsellors, use the Academic Literacies Services and use a computer, though it warns that the number of computers at regional centres is limited.

Parent organisation

Cape Town is one of two Western Cape locations; the other is George on 044 884 1300 or [email protected]. Unisa is a distance university, so most administration is done nationally rather than at a campus: general student enquiries go to [email protected], examination queries to [email protected], myLife email problems to [email protected] and prospective student questions to [email protected]. Campus staff cannot resolve a national registration or examination matter.
