All five lines run 24 hours a day. FNB does not list a separate toll-free lost card number: the only 0800 number in this section is Visa Global Customer Service, which is for Visa cardholders abroad. Report fraud as soon as you notice it and keep the reference number the agent gives you.

FNB Aspire and Easy service desks

FNB lists the Aspire Service Desk and the Easy Service Desk as separate options in its Talk to Us directory for personal customers. The directory does not say which customers each desk serves, so if you are not sure which one applies to your account, start with General Enquiries on 087 575 9404. All three keep the same hours: weekdays 08:00 to 18:00 and Saturday 08:00 to 13:00, closed on Sundays and public holidays.

FNB 24-hour call centre and Secure Chat

FNB’s general help desks are not open 24 hours. The round-the-clock options are Secure Chat, where FNB says you can chat directly to a team of bankers 24/7 in the FNB App or Online Banking, and the emergency lines above. FNB’s directory also lists 24-hour service for Private Clients and Private Wealth customers.

FNB cellphone banking and eWallet contact number

Cellphone Banking and eWallet share one support number, 087 575 9405, open weekdays 08:00 to 17:00 and Saturday 08:00 to 13:00, and closed on Sundays and public holidays. Use it for problems sending or withdrawing an eWallet, or with USSD cellphone banking. For problems with the FNB App itself, call the Banking App line on 087 575 0362, and for Online Banking on a computer, 087 575 0000.

FNB SWIFT code for international payments

People often search for an “FNB routing number”, but South African banks do not use US-style routing numbers. For money sent to your FNB account from abroad, FNB says to give the sender its SWIFT code, FIRNZAJJ, together with your account details. For forex questions, call 08601 FOREX (36739).

FNB complaints

FNB’s Complaints Resolution team is on 087 575 9408 or care@fnb.co.za. FNB’s directory also gives 087 575 9408 as the number to call for personal banking needs, alongside Secure Chat and any FNB branch. If a complaint stays unresolved after FNB’s process, banking disputes can go to the independent National Financial Ombud Scheme.
