FNB cellphone banking number and USSD

FNB Online Banking login and registration help
FNB Online Banking is accessed through www.fnb.co.za. The site’s Tools menu provides Register and Forgot Username or Password options. For Online Banking customer care when you need help with the service, use 087 575 0000 during the published Online Banking hours.
To register for FNB Online Banking, go to www.fnb.co.za and select Register. For personal registration, choose “I have a card and PIN”, enter your card number, PIN and the captcha code, verify your personal details, set up a user ID and password, and then select Register. Resetting your FNB App password
To reset your password on the FNB App, launch the app and select Login, then Forgot Password. Enter your card and PIN, choose and confirm a new password, and enter the OTP sent to you.
Registering the FNB App with Online Banking
Download the FNB App and select Set Up My Banking App, followed by “I have Online Banking”. Enter the OTP sent to your inContact number, accept the terms, and enter your card and PIN, or your account number if you have no card on the profile. You may be asked to do a selfie check.
FNB says new app users start with limited access to some transactions and limits. Those limits increase as you use the app regularly.

On the FNB App, log in and select Messages, then Secure Chat, then My Team of Bankers, and start chatting. You can send a photo from your camera or gallery in the chat, up to 5MB per upload.

The cellphone number linked to your Online Banking profile
FNB sends one-time PINs and account notifications to the cellphone number on your profile, which it calls your inContact number. inContact is FNB’s free service that sends messages about money going in and out of your account, including messages explaining why a transaction was declined.
To qualify for inContact, you need an active FNB Personal, Business or Easy account and a valid cellphone number. When you register the FNB App using your Online Banking details, FNB’s guide says you enter the OTP sent to your inContact number. You then receive an inContact message confirming that the app is set up.
If the cellphone number on your profile has changed and you no longer receive OTPs, call Online Banking on 087 575 0000 or visit a branch.
For balance notifications by SMS or email, switch on Balance Alert in Online Banking under Online Banking Settings, Banking, Balance Alert, then select Change. You need an active Personal, Business or Easy account and a valid cellphone number and/or email address.
