Makro Bloemfontein trading hours
The store trades Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 18:00, Saturday from 08:30 to 17:00 and Sunday from 09:00 to 14:00. The Sunday close at 14:00 is the earliest of the week and catches people out, since the weekday close is four hours later.
On public holidays the hours change for every Makro store: weekdays 09:00 to 16:00, Saturdays 08:00 to 16:00 and Sundays 09:00 to 16:00. All stores are closed on Christmas Day and New Year Day.
Makro Bloemfontein contact number
Makro runs its customer contact centrally, so there is no direct telephone number for this or any other Makro store. The national line is 0860 600 999 and it is identical for every Makro store in the country. When you use it, say which store you mean, because the agent answering has no way of knowing you are calling about Bloemfontein. A query that genuinely needs someone standing in the Bloemfontein building, such as whether a specific item is on the floor right now, is the weakest fit for a central line, so ask them to confirm with the store rather than accepting a national stock figure.
Contacting Makro by WhatsApp or email
The national WhatsApp line is 060 019 7747 and the national email is info@makro.co.za. Both are central routes that serve every store, so include the store name, your receipt or order number and what you need in your first message.
What the Bloemfontein store sells
Makro trades in a warehouse format serving both retail customers and trade buyers. The store finder publishes each store address and its hours but does not list which departments a particular store carries, and the mix is not identical across the chain. Liquor in particular is licensed store by store rather than nationally. Confirm on the national number or WhatsApp line before travelling for a specific department or a bulk trade order.
Complaining about a Makro purchase
Because store staff cannot be reached directly, a complaint should start on 0860 600 999 or by email to info@makro.co.za with the store name and your receipt or order number. The Makro head office is at 16 Peltier Drive, Sunninghill, Sandton, 2157. If the complaint is not resolved, a dispute about goods, a refund or a delivery goes to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud on 0860 000 272, with the National Consumer Commission above it.
