PayCurve provides earned wage access, which lets an employee draw wages they have already worked for before payday. It is reached through your employer rather than signed up for individually, and it is presented as an alternative to short term credit rather than as a loan.

Official contact channels

  • Employee support: 010 595 3848
  • Employee support email: support@paycurve.co.za
  • Address: Dunkeld Office Park, 6 North Road, Dunkeld West, Johannesburg, 2196
  • Employee app and employer administration portal on paycurve.co.za
  • Frequently asked questions and support pages on the website

The only sales contact PayCurve publishes is the personal mailbox of an individual staff member, so it is not reproduced here. An employer enquiry should go through the support line or the enquiry form on the website instead, which will reach the team rather than one person who may have moved on.

What this organisation provides

The published products are earned wage access, a gamified financial education tool and a smart savings feature. The service is sold to employers and made available to their staff, which has a practical consequence: if your employer has not enrolled, there is nothing to apply for as an individual, and the first question support will ask is who you work for.

Address and operating information

The office is at Dunkeld Office Park, 6 North Road, Dunkeld West, Johannesburg, 2196. PayCurve publishes a privacy policy and a PAIA manual on its website, the latter setting out how to request records it holds about you. The site is split into a section for employers and a section for employees, and the employee section is the one to use for a query about your own drawdown.

Support and escalation routes

Raise a query about a drawdown or a deduction with employee support first, and with your own payroll department in parallel, because the deduction is applied through the employer payroll rather than by PayCurve collecting from you directly.

Which regulator applies depends on how the product is structured. PayCurve describes earned salary access as designed to counter short term credit rather than as lending, and drawing wages already earned is not the same as borrowing. If what you have been offered is in fact structured as credit, then the National Credit Act applies and the provider must be registered with the National Credit Regulator, reachable on 0860 627 627, so check what your agreement actually says. A dispute about your pay or an unlawful deduction is an employment matter for the Department of Employment and Labour or the CCMA, and a complaint about how your personal information was handled goes to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
