Flexi Club is a South African holiday club selling points based membership rather than individual bookings. Two things about contacting it are easy to get wrong: the two reservation numbers differ only in the last digit, and the mailboxes are not on the flexiclub domain at all.
Official contact channels
- Local reservations: 031 717 7591, [email protected]
- International reservations and cruises: 031 717 7592, [email protected]
- Postal address: PO Box 141, Hillcrest, 3650, South Africa
Both mailboxes sit on holidaygateway.co.za rather than flexiclub.co.za, so a reply arriving from that domain is genuine. Check the last digit before dialling: 7591 reaches local reservations and 7592 reaches the international and cruise desk, and they are handled by different teams.
There is no walk in office. The club states that it now works mostly remotely and that a face to face meeting must be arranged in advance by calling 031 717 7591 at least 72 hours beforehand. Arriving without an appointment will not get you seen, which matters particularly if you are trying to resolve a membership dispute in person.
What this organisation provides
Membership gives access to resorts in South Africa and internationally, along with cruise bookings, with usage allocated through a points system rather than fixed weeks. The club publishes its points chart, club scheme rules, club constitution, latest AGM report, membership application and sales disclosures on its website, and those documents rather than the sales conversation are what actually govern your rights, your levies and how many points a booking costs.
Address and operating information
Only a postal address is published, PO Box 141, Hillcrest, 3650, which places the administration in KwaZulu-Natal and matches the 031 dialling code on both reservation lines. Correspondence that needs to be on record should go by email to the relevant reservations address, with the post box kept for anything the club specifically asks to receive in hard copy.
Support and escalation routes
Raise a booking problem with the desk that made it, and a membership or levy problem in writing, quoting your membership number. Read the club scheme rules and constitution first, because those documents set out the internal process and any ombud will ask whether you followed it.
Holiday club membership is a consumer contract, and the Consumer Protection Act gives rights that the sales material does not always spell out. A consumer fixed term agreement may be cancelled on twenty business days written notice, subject to a reasonable cancellation penalty, and the Act limits how long such an agreement may run. Complaints that are not resolved go to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud on 0860 000 272, with the National Consumer Commission above it, and the commission has taken an active interest in holiday club and timeshare selling in particular. Put any cancellation in writing and keep proof of delivery.
