Bradlows has two stores in Bloemfontein itself, each with its own telephone number, and lists two further Free State branches under the same city heading. Start by working out which one you actually need.

The two central branches are close together and easy to confuse: Sanlam Plaza sits on the corner of Maitland Street, and the Maitland branch is on Maitland Street itself. Quote the branch name, not just the street, when you phone about stock or a delivery.

- The Maitland branch is a separate street-front store
- Ficksburg and Sterkspruit are separate Free State towns, some distance from Bloemfontein, despite the store finder grouping them under it
- The 010 numbers on the outlying branches are voice-over-IP lines rather than local Free State codes
- Trading hours are published per store through the Bradlows store finder
Do not assume the store finder city label means the store is in that city. Bradlows groups Ficksburg and Sterkspruit under Bloemfontein, and both are a long drive away, so check the street address before travelling.

On lay-by, the Consumer Protection Act protects what you have already paid. If you cancel, the supplier may deduct a reasonable cancellation charge but must refund the balance, and the goods must be handed over once the final payment is made.

Escalate to head office only after the branch has had a chance, and keep the branch name, the date and the invoice number. Furniture disputes almost always turn on which store held the stock and what the delivery note said.
