Zhang Cash Loans is not one company. It is ten separately registered companies, each holding its own credit provider registration with the National Credit Regulator, spread across the Northern Cape, the Free State and Limpopo. There is no website and no head office number. Three landlines cover nine of the ten branches, so the number you dial does not tell you which shop you have reached. Say the town first. The 086 number on the Bloemfontein record is a sharecall line, not a local one, and it may cost more from a mobile than the 056 numbers do.
Each branch is its own company, and that matters
Because every shop is separately incorporated and separately registered, a complaint about the Prieska branch does not attach to the Kuruman one, and a dispute has to name the right company and the right NCRCP number. Both are in the list above. Ask which registered entity your agreement is with before you sign, and check that the NCRCP number on the paperwork matches the branch you are standing in.
Verify, then borrow
- All ten registrations were live on the NCR register on 7 September 2026. Registration status can change, so look the NCRCP number up yourself at ncr.org.za before you sign – it is free.
- A registered credit provider must do an affordability assessment before lending. If nobody asks about your income and expenses, that is a breach, not efficiency.
