rain WiFi Contact Details

Verified 14 September 2026Official source onlyIndependent directoryReport a wrong number

rain does not run a separate help line for its home WiFi. Router faults, slow speeds, cancellations and complaints about 5G home WiFi all go to the same Customer Engagement Centre on 081 610 1000. rain has no contact page or help centre as such; the details below come from its legal terms, FAQs, store locator and published fact file on rain.co.za, read on 14 September 2026.

ContactDetails.co.za is an independent directory. We are not rain and cannot see your account, router or coverage. For rain’s mobile products and general contacts, see rain contact details.

What this organisation provides

rain (Pty) Ltd runs its own national 4G and 5G network. Its home WiFi is fixed wireless: there is no fibre installation or technician. You plug in the the101 5G router at your approved address. Since 8 July 2026 the home range is Unlimited 5G Home WiFi (the101 router), a Pro tier on the the101 pro and a Premium tier with two xtenders, plus rainOne Unlimited, which bundles home WiFi with unlimited mobile on the LoopPhone. All are month to month.

Older products, including the original rainone, the 4G and 5G Home and Work plans and SIM-only 4G, were discontinued from sale on 8 July 2026. rain says existing customers keep their current service and should ask rain support about migrating.

Address and operating information

rain’s registered office is 1st Floor, Cape Quarter Square, 27 Somerset Road, Cape Town 8001 (postal: PO Box 651921, Benmore 2010). Some structured data on rain’s homepage still shows an older Somerset Street address; rain’s legal pages give Somerset Road.

rain lists 14 stores: Cape Quarter (Green Point), Riverside Mall (Rondebosch), Aroma Village (Brackenfell) and Parklands Lifestyle Centre in Cape Town; The Circular Business Park in Gqeberha; The Crescent in Umhlanga and Westwood Mall in Westville; Bonaero Park, Cambridge Crossing (Paulshof), Rand Steam (Richmond), Palm Court (Weltevredenpark) and Dhlamini Junction (Soweto) in Gauteng; Queenswood Quarter in Pretoria; and Centurion Lifestyle Centre. Stores do not have their own numbers; rain lists 081 610 1000 for them. Hours vary by store and are shown on the rain.co.za store locator.

Support and escalation routes

Before calling about slow or dropping WiFi, try rain’s own advice: stand the router upright in an open spot, close to a window, and away from cupboards, floors, large appliances and thick walls. For rooms the signal does not reach, rain sells the the101 xtender, which builds a mesh network. rain’s home plans only work on rain-supplied routers, and speeds depend on 5G coverage at your address and on power, so load-shedding can interrupt service.

  • Faulty router: rain’s terms say to report a defect within 7 days; once confirmed, rain repairs or replaces it.
  • Moving house: rain’s FAQ says the router can be used at another address, subject to coverage there.
  • Cancelling: call the Customer Engagement Centre or use a rain channel. A request is not an instant cancellation; fees run until the effective cancellation date. The router is free to use but remains rain’s property and must be returned (rainOne customers return both the router and the LoopPhone), or rain charges its replacement value.
  • Unresolved complaint: rain names only its Customer Engagement Centre. If rain does not resolve a service complaint, the communications regulator ICASA takes consumer complaints at consumer@icasa.org.za or 012 568 3000; it expects you to have complained to rain first.
