Ikeja WiFi Contact Details
The Ikeja WiFi contact number is 010 142 4444 and its WhatsApp number is 066 472 1628. Both are open 07:00 to 22:00, seven days a week. Use www.ikeja.co.za with the www, because the address without it is broken. We read these details on 24 September 2026.

Those hours are worth noticing. Seven days a week until ten at night is wider than most South African internet providers offer, and it means an evening outage can actually be reported the same evening.
Type the www or you will not reach them
There is a fault on Ikeja’s domain that will stop you finding any of this yourself.
Typing ikeja.co.za without the www sends you into a dead end. The plain address redirects to the secure version, and the secure version then redirects to http://10.0.0.1, which is a private network address that does not exist on the public internet. The browser cannot reach it, so the page fails.
We checked this on 24 September 2026 and it happens every time. Only www.ikeja.co.za loads the real site.
10.0.0.1 is the address a home router or a WiFi hotspot login page usually sits on, which is a plausible explanation for how this got misconfigured at an internet provider. Either way, the practical effect is that a customer who types the obvious address concludes the company is offline.
WhatsApp is the route they push
The Get in Touch section on Ikeja’s site leads with WhatsApp rather than the phone. Tapping it opens a chat to 066 472 1628 with a message already written saying you were directed from the website and need assistance.
For a connection fault that is often the better channel anyway, because you can send a photograph of the router lights and the agent can read your account back to you in writing.
Ikeja publishes no email address at all. There is no support mailbox, no billing mailbox and no accounts address on the site, so the two numbers above and the help centre are the whole set of published routes.
What Ikeja sells
Ikeja Wireless is a township wireless internet provider. It says it builds its own network rather than reselling someone else’s, and that it has more than 250 000 users.
- Home WiFi at R350 a month for an unlimited, unthrottled 35 Mbps down and 10 Mbps up service, with a once-off activation fee of R499. Ikeja notes that pricing depends on location.
- Free access to more than 40 000 street hotspots for home customers.
- Pay as you go hotspot access at R5.00 for 24 hours, for people not on a home package.
- A product called ikeja Wave, which shows you how many devices are connected.
The company reports 50 000 plus households, 7 000 plus spaza shops and more than 42 townships on the network, across Gauteng, the Western Cape and Mpumalanga.
Signing up and installation
Ikeja sets out three steps. You check whether the service reaches your area using the coverage request on the site, then reserve a slot by entering your details, signing the contract and paying, then wait for delivery and installation.
It commits to installing within 14 working days of payment, and says you are online and connected on the same day the installation happens.
Hold them to the 14 working days if it slips. That is the company’s own published commitment, dated from payment rather than from sign-up, so keep your proof of payment and the date on it.
Check coverage before you pay anything. The service is area by area, and the published price itself is described as location dependent.
Before you get in touch
Have your account or customer number, and the address the service is installed at. On a township network the address is often what identifies the connection fastest.
For a fault, check the router lights first and say what they are doing. It is the first question any wireless provider asks, and having the answer ready saves a round of messages.
Say whether the problem is the home connection or a street hotspot. They are different services and they are supported differently.
