Dial Direct Car Insurance Contact Details
For a Dial Direct car insurance quote, call the new customer sales line on 0861 555 580, get a price online at quote.dialdirect.co.za, or leave your name and number in the “Call me back” form on any Dialdirect car insurance page. Existing car policies are serviced on the same number during support hours. These details were read on dialdirect.co.za on 16 September 2026.
ContactDetails.co.za is an independent directory. We are not Dial Direct, we do not sell insurance and we cannot quote on or see a policy.

The sales team keeps longer hours than support. A weekday evening or a public holiday morning is a good time to ask for a quote, but a change to cover you already have has to wait for support hours or be done in the Dialdirect app.
Dial Direct Insurance Ltd is a licensed non-life insurer and financial services provider, FSP 15259. Its address is Auto & General Park, 1 Telesure Lane, Riverglen, Dainfern, 2191. It sells directly by phone, online and through its app, so there are no branches to visit for a quote.
Product or service support
Dialdirect sells car cover at three levels. Comprehensive Insurance is its full cover. Third-Party, Fire and Theft is described as mid-range cover. Third-Party Insurance is the entry level: it pays for damage you cause to someone else’s vehicle or property when you are found to be at fault, and it does not pay to repair your own car.
Dialdirect lists these events under its comprehensive policy: theft or hijacking, accidents including natural disasters, flood or fire damage, third party liability, towing and storage, and windscreen damage, with hail as an option. It names medical expenses for you or your passengers after an accident as something the comprehensive policy does not cover. Repairs carry a lifetime guarantee, and comprehensive cover follows the regular driver of the car, who is not necessarily the policyholder.
The Dialdirect app is listed on the Apple App Store, Google Play and Huawei AppGallery. Once you have a policy it lets you request SOS help, update policy details, view payments and download documents, which saves a call for routine changes.
Eligibility, account or policy requirements
Optional extras on the car insurance pages include Scratch & Dent (minor scratches, chips and dents, excluding window glass, the windscreen and a sunroof), Tyre & Rim Cover, Vehicle Value Protect (shortfall cover if a financed car is stolen or written off), service plans, a vehicle warranty and Auto Top-Up Plus. The optional Payback Bonus, which costs extra, pays back either your first year’s premium or 25% of four years of premiums, whichever is less, for every four claim-free years of uninterrupted cover.
Dialdirect does not publish a separate car insurance email address or WhatsApp number, so quotes are handled by phone, the online quote or a call back. Its own tips for a lower premium are choosing a higher excess, choosing non-comprehensive cover if it suits your needs, and asking a consultant to check the insured value so the car is neither over-insured nor under-insured.
