The credit card you apply for in Game, the Game mystore card, is an RCS product, and the RCS customer service line is 0861 729 727 (0861 SAY RCS). RCS’s own Game page also gives 0861 00 22 33 for setting up a debit order, and card disputes have a separate line, 0861 775 522. We read these on rcs.co.za on 16 September 2026.

ContactDetails.co.za is an independent directory. We are not RCS or Game, and we cannot see your account, change a limit or stop a card.

It also does not publish a WhatsApp line: the WhatsApp number in the RCS site footer belongs to the National Financial Ombud Scheme, not to RCS.

What this organisation provides

RCS Cards (Pty) Ltd is a registered credit provider (NCRCP 38) and an authorised financial services provider (FSP 44481). The credit behind Game’s card and cash loan comes from RCS, not from Game; for the Game Cash Loan, RCS says it manages the application, the assessment and the loan agreement. On its Game partner page RCS says the Game mystore card can be used at more than 100 000 stores, not only in Game, and offers revolving credit or 24 or 36 month budget plans.

To apply for the card, RCS says you must be 18 or older, have a South African ID or driver’s licence, be employed, earn at least R2 000 a month and supply proof of income. Once approved you can shop online straight away through the Game Credit App, and collect the physical card from the Game store where you applied or your nearest Game. RCS says the app can also be used to buy airtime, data and electricity.

Game’s own Credit Services page lists more than the card: Game Finance of up to R125 000 for larger in-store purchases, cash loans from R2 000 to R300 000 with up to 60 months to pay, myvirtualcredit, Mobicred and PayJustNow (in store only). RCS says the Game Cash Loan is powered by RCS, and its FAQ sets a higher bar than for the card: 18 or older, a South African ID or driver’s licence, a South African bank account, employment and income of at least R3 000 a month, with your latest payslip or bank statements.

Address and operating information

RCS head office is at Mutualpark, Jan Smuts Drive, Pinelands, Cape Town 7405. Postal address: PO Box 111, Goodwood 7459. The contact page lists no walk-in service desk; account help runs through the phone lines, the app and Self Service.

Ways to pay the account, according to RCS:

  • a debit order, set up by phone
  • the Game Credit App or the Self Service website
  • EFT, using the bank details on your monthly statement
  • in store at Game or Makro, or with the EASY PAY number on your statement wherever EASY PAY is accepted, including Pick n Pay, Checkers and Shoprite

Support and escalation routes

Lost or stolen card: call 0861 729 727 immediately with your card number and ID number so RCS can block the card. A replacement is collected at a Game or Makro store for a small fee.

Closing the account: call 0861 729 727 and follow the prompts. RCS sends a settlement letter whose amount is valid for five days. The account closes only once that amount is paid within the five days; after that you need a new letter.

  1. Raise the problem with RCS on the matching line above and note the reference.
  2. If it concerns an insurance claim, RCS says to write to claims@rcsgroup.co.za if you disagree with the outcome.
  3. If RCS does not resolve it, the National Financial Ombud Scheme, which RCS names on its site, takes complaints on 0860 800 900 or info@nfosa.co.za.
