Openserve Fibre Contact Details

Verified 16 September 2026Official source onlyIndependent directoryReport a wrong number

Openserve fibre has no customer phone number. Openserve builds and runs the fibre line, but you buy the internet service from an internet service provider (ISP), and that ISP is your contact for orders, billing and faults. Openserve’s own channels are the email address info@openserve.co.za, the enquiry form on openserve.co.za and a support form for its prepaid fibre portal. We read these on openserve.co.za on 16 September 2026.

ContactDetails.co.za is an independent directory. We are not Openserve or an ISP, and we cannot check your line, place an order or top up a bundle.

Openserve’s contact form states that all responses are given through digital channels, with no call-backs. It also repeats that Openserve is not an ISP and that faults must be reported to your ISP. Openserve publishes no WhatsApp line for households. For the full fault-reporting checklist and the Telkom fraud hotline, see our main Openserve page linked below.

Product or service support

Getting connected. Openserve says it provides and installs the fibre infrastructure that ISPs use, and that if a line already runs to your home you simply choose an internet plan with an ISP. The ISP partner deals page lets you enter your address and filter offers by provider, speed, price and contract term. Openserve adds that it accepts no responsibility for errors or omissions in ISP deals, so confirm the price and terms with the ISP before you sign.

Prepaid fibre. Openserve Prepaid Connect is an end-to-end fibre service in selected areas, sold with uncapped internet bundles and no contract. Openserve lists Web Connect Prepaid at 20/10 Mbps and Webstream Prepaid at 25/25 Mbps and 50/25 Mbps. It is installed with a WiFi-enabled fibre box (ONT), so no separate router is needed. To buy or check bundles you validate the line on the Openserve Prepaid page with its service number. If the portal will not load or a purchased bundle does not appear, that page has a form asking for your name, email, service number, the bundle and a description; Openserve says its support team will reply.

Estates and complexes. Openserve offers fibre installation at no cost to a homeowners’ association or body corporate. Its process runs from a consultation with the HOA, through a site assessment and installation, to network testing and activation. Estate managers are then added to a dedicated WhatsApp channel to monitor the network, report issues and receive updates. Openserve does not publish that WhatsApp number; you join through the same form, which also lets an estate that already has Openserve fibre request only the WhatsApp support channel.

Eligibility, account or policy requirements

Your service number, also called the B-number, is the 10-digit reference tied to your Openserve connection at one address. On its prepaid page Openserve says you can find it on the Openserve ONT or WiFi device, and that your ISP can help if you cannot locate it. Keep it at hand for any prepaid, upgrade or repair query.

A request for an additional line depends on your building type; Openserve says the form checks eligibility first and may tell you the existing line is enough. The estate form asks for the complex name and address, the number of units and the contact person’s role in the HOA or body corporate, with consent for Openserve to contact that person. Openserve also lists its Openserve Connect App as a self-service tool for information and updates about your connectivity.

Escalation route

  1. Raise service, billing or fault problems with your ISP first and ask for its reference number.
  2. For an infrastructure, installation or prepaid portal issue the ISP cannot settle, write to Openserve at info@openserve.co.za or through the Contact us form, quoting your service number and the ISP’s reference.
  3. If your complaint is about how an ISP handled you, Openserve’s website footer links to the Internet Service Providers’ Association code of conduct at ispa.org.za, which you can read before you escalate.
  4. Unresolved consumer complaints about an electronic communications service can go to ICASA at consumer@icasa.org.za; the head office number is 012 568 3000.
