For account questions, Mobicred asks you to use its self-service app first. You can download the Mobicred app from the App Store or Google Play to see your account information. If the app does not answer your question, email customerservice@mobicred.co.za. Existing account holders can also log in on the website at mobicred.co.za/customer/mobicred/login, which is also where new customers open an account.
What Mobicred provides
Mobicred gives you a revolving credit limit that you use to shop at participating online stores; its About page puts the number at more than 4,000. You pay one monthly instalment for all your purchases, and your available limit frees up again as you repay. Mobicred is not a store, and it is not the RCS store card.
To apply you need:
- a valid South African ID number
- to be 18 or older
- a bank account in your name
- a valid email address and mobile number
- Apply online and get an instant response.
- Accept the terms to receive your credit limit.
- Upload or email your documents.
- Start shopping at participating stores.
Interest is linked to the repo rate, and a monthly service fee applies while the account is open.

Support and escalation routes

If you want to cancel your debit order, you must give 30 days’ notice by phone. Cancelling the debit order does not cancel your credit agreement, so you still need to keep paying your instalments another way.
