What this organisation provides
HURU criminal background checks are done by fingerprint scan at over 500 PostNet and Jetline e.com stores, and HURU says no booking or booking fee is required. It offers separate check products for candidates, e-hailers, teachers (SAIT) and NCR registrations, plus business packages by industry.
HURU also sells Kudough 4-bureau credit reports to individuals. It is an approved distributor of Kudough Credit Solutions Pty Ltd, a credit bureau registered as NCRCB 29.
How a criminal check works:
- Find your nearest PostNet or Jetline e.com store with the store finder on huru.co.za.
- Have your fingerprints scanned and pay in store.
- Receive your results. If there is a problem, email support@huru.co.za or use the contact form query “I haven’t received my report”.

HURU’s office is at Stonemill Office Park, 300 Acacia Road, Darrenwood, Johannesburg, 2195. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30. Fingerprint capture happens at PostNet and Jetline e.com stores, not at the office.
