Toyota South Africa Motors distributes and supports Toyota vehicles nationally. The contact routes below were read from the Toyota South Africa enquiry page on 31 August 2026.

Official contact channels

The 0800 prefix makes 139 111 genuinely toll-free from a South African landline. The head office and international numbers are the same line.

What this organisation provides

Roadside assistance is the number to save before you need it. Toyota publishes a separate set of roadside lines from customer care, including for neighbouring countries – relevant if you drive across a border:

Toyota also runs several distinct businesses alongside the vehicles, each with its own enquiry route on the site: Toyota Financial Services for finance, KINTO for vehicle subscription, and vehicle insurance. A finance or insurance query is not a customer care matter and will be routed to the relevant business, so select the right category rather than phoning the general line.

The My Toyota app handles roadside assistance requests, service bookings and finance tracking, which is often faster than calling.

Before contacting Toyota, have the vehicle registration number and VIN, the current odometer reading, and the name of the dealership that sold or last serviced the vehicle. For a roadside call, know your location as precisely as possible and whether the vehicle is in a safe position.

Address and operating information

Toyota does not publish a head office street address on its enquiry page, only the +27 11 809 9111 number, which carries a Johannesburg dialling code. It does not publish customer care operating hours either, though roadside assistance is by its nature a continuous service.

Dealerships are independent businesses. Servicing, repairs, sales and trade-ins happen at a dealer rather than at Toyota South Africa, and each has its own contact details and management. For a service or sale problem, start with the dealer principal at that dealership – national customer care will refer you there first in any case.

Support and escalation routes

Escalate in order: the dealership, then the dealer principal, then Toyota customer care on 0800 139 111 or [email protected], quoting the VIN, the job card number and the dates. Get any warranty decline in writing with the reason stated.

If it remains unresolved, the routes differ by subject:

The Motor Industry Ombudsman covers the vehicle and the workmanship; the financial ombud covers the money. A dispute about a repair not being done properly and one about what the finance agreement costs go to different places.
