Absa Business Contact Details
For help with an existing Absa business account, such as statements, account confirmation letters, stop payments, debit order reversals or tracing a payment, Absa’s Regional Engagement Channel takes requests by email, with a mailbox for each region, and its bankers can be phoned between 07:00 and 19:00. The business customer care number on that page is 0800 227 592. All of it was taken from absa.co.za on 16 September 2026.
ContactDetails.co.za is an independent directory and is not Absa. We cannot see a business account, reverse a debit order or issue a bank letter.

The engagement channel page lists no mailbox for Limpopo, Mpumalanga, the Northern Cape or North West, so businesses there should use 0800 227 592 or their own banker. We found no WhatsApp line for business customer care on the Absa pages we read.
What this organisation provides
The Regional Engagement Channel is Absa’s extended-hours service for business clients. The services it names include account balances, account confirmation letters, account verification, archived statements and statement requests, bank and branch code enquiries, cheque clearances, copies of cheques, deposit confirmation, debit order reversals, eStatements, FICA, internet banking enquiries, journal processing and charges, letters of good standing, stop payments, tracing or verifying payments, Commercial Property Finance statements and credit card enquiries.
Moving debit orders from another bank is done by Absa’s Switching Department, free of charge, for active Absa business transactional accounts. You email the completed Debit Order Switching Request form to switching@absa.co.za, one instruction per account number, and where an account needs two signatories both must sign. Absa’s FAQ gives four to eight weeks for the process. It will not close your old account at the other bank or move internal stop orders; those are for you, at a branch or on Absa Online for Business. To amend or cancel an instruction, send a signed letter with the company name and the date of the original request.
Before you can create an Absa Online PIN for a business account, Absa requires the business account to be registered for online banking at a branch, where your business banker issues a combi card number.
Address and operating information
Extended business banking hours through the engagement channel run from 07:00 to 19:00; Absa does not say which days. No hours are published for 0800 227 592 or the switching line. The engagement channel page gives no street address; Absa’s corporate head office is Absa Towers West, 15 Troye Street, Johannesburg. It helps to put the business name, account number and the exact request in the subject line of any email.
