The customer care number and mailbox come from the regulator contact table in the Russells website terms, which lists “Customer Care 010 211 1120” alongside the ombuds and regulators. The pl.co.za mailbox uses a short domain rather than a store name, but it is the address Pepkor Lifestyle publishes there. The old connectfs.co.za website is still named in those terms, but it did not load for us.

Connect Financial Solutions (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2018/431596/07, held credit provider registration NCRCP11158 with the National Credit Regulator. The NCR’s register of voluntarily cancelled credit providers now lists it with trading names Incredible Connection, Sleepmasters, Bradlows, Russells, Rochester and HiFi Corp, a cancellation date of 27 September 2024 and the reason “Take Over/Acquisition”. It is not on the register of currently registered credit providers.

The current Russells terms say credit is granted only through Pepkor Lifestyle Finance, a division of Pepkor Trading (Pty) Ltd, registered credit provider NCRCP13053 and authorised financial services provider FSP 3247. The NCR register confirms NCRCP13053 as Pepkor Trading (Pty) Ltd.

Older credit terms still on the Bradlows and Sleepmasters websites continue to name Connect Financial Solutions. One Sleepmasters clause prints its registration number as 2008/431596/07 instead of 2018, so treat the NCR record as the reliable version.
