Compuscan Contact Details
Compuscan no longer operates as a separate credit bureau. Experian South Africa completed its acquisition of Compuscan on 1 May 2019, and the National Credit Regulator’s register shows that Compuscan’s own bureau registration was cancelled on 26 June 2020. Compuscan credit report queries now go to Experian. You can get your free credit report and log disputes on Up, at up.experian.co.za, and consumer queries go to Experian’s WhatsApp line, +27 79 127 4906. These details were read on experian.co.za and the NCR register on 16 September 2026. The compuscan.co.za website returned a server error that day.

Experian says on-site consumer enquiries are not available at any of its offices, so do not travel to Stellenbosch or Bryanston with a dispute. Use Up or WhatsApp instead. The 0861 number and compuscan.co.za mailboxes that still circulate for Compuscan do not appear on Experian’s contact or consumer pages, and Experian does not publish a Compuscan-branded contact route.
What this organisation provides
Compuscan Information Technologies (Pty) Ltd was registered with the NCR as credit bureau NCRCB6, based at Compuscan House, 3 Neutron Avenue, Techno Park, Stellenbosch. According to Experian’s 2019 announcement, Experian acquired both Compuscan and Scoresharp and merged them into one business. At the time Compuscan operated in six Sub-Saharan African countries. Compuscan’s founder became chief executive of the combined company. The NCR register now lists Compuscan under voluntarily cancelled bureaus, while Experian South Africa (Pty) Ltd is a registered bureau, NCRCB16. The credit report website on Compuscan’s NCR record, mycreditcheck.co.za, now redirects to Up.
Up is Experian’s free consumer web app. It gives you your credit report, a budgeting tool and financial education content at no cost. Experian reminds consumers that the National Credit Act gives everyone a free credit report once a year, and says that Experian has 20 business days to investigate and respond to a dispute.

Experian’s contact page does not publish call centre hours. Up and the WhatsApp line are the consumer channels it names. Its offices do not take walk-in consumer queries.
