The only toll-free number Alexforbes publishes is the whistle-blowing line. Alexander Forbes Group Holdings Limited provides retirement fund consulting and administration, healthcare consulting, investments and wealth management. Its services reach employers, retirement funds and individuals. Several companies in the group are authorised financial services providers, registered insurers or approved retirement fund administrators. For individuals, AF Invest offers unit trusts, retirement annuities, preservation funds, living annuities and tax-free savings. For employers, it offers retirement consulting and administration, group risk, the Alexander Forbes Retirement Fund and the Alexander Forbes Beneficiary Fund. Alexforbes says it will never ask you for money to process a claim, and that its authorised tracing agents identify themselves and never ask for payment. It warns that some entities falsely claim to recover unclaimed benefits for a fee, and that fake SMSs ask clients to update details through a link. It has also disclosed a security incident at an external service provider, RelyComply, which may have exposed client names and ID numbers. Alexforbes says it does not share banking details or account balances with that provider. Treat unexpected calls quoting your ID number with caution.
