Liquid Vehicle Finance is a vehicle finance product of WesBank, a division of FirstRand Bank, marketed through LiquidCapital. That split decides who to contact: WesBank handles the finance account itself, while LiquidCapital handles service and maintenance plans, warranties and related products. Liquid Vehicle Finance product terms and fees

WesBank’s site describes Liquid Vehicle Finance as “a product of WesBank, a division of FirstRand Bank Limited”, an authorised financial services and credit provider. The National Credit Regulator lists FirstRand Bank Limited as credit provider NCRCP20. LiquidCapital offers finance as instalment agreements, with fixed or variable rates, and a balloon payment option. It also offers online pre-approval, which it says does not guarantee the final amount, rate or term.

LiquidCapital’s calculator shows a monthly admin fee of R69 and a once-off initiation fee of R1 207.50 as its assumptions, and describes the figures as guidelines rather than a quote. Its Deposit Cover pays 10% of the sum insured, up to R100 000, towards a replacement car deposit if the car is stolen or hijacked and not recovered within 31 days, or written off.

Self-service portal and contract signing

Account holders can register on WesBank’s self-service portal with their ID number and a PIN to manage the account at any hour. Its FAQs cover insurance, deceased customers, NaTIS documents, arrears, debt review, repossessions and court orders. Contracts are signed digitally with an 8-digit PIN sent by email or SMS. LiquidCapital’s office is at The Bridge Office Park, 146 Boeing Road East, Elma Park, Edenvale.
