The up.experian.co.za free credit check, step by step
Up gives South African citizens with a valid SA ID number a free full credit report and credit score, and the report updates daily. It also includes a budget planner, your personal details, credit portfolio, payment history, and negative information such as defaults, judgments and debt collections.
- Go to www.up.experian.co.za and register with your SA ID number.
- View your free credit report and score on the dashboard.
- If information is wrong, log a dispute through the same platform using its online dispute function, or chat to Ed.

Disputing wrong information on your Experian credit report
Experian routes consumer questions to WhatsApp on +27 79 127 4906 and to the Up platform itself: if you have any queries or disputes, you can log them directly through Up, and you can chat with Ed for any questions. Experian offices and visiting in person
Experian has two head offices: Ballyoaks Office Park in Johannesburg, on 011 799 3400, and Experian House, 3 Neutron Avenue, Techno Park, in Stellenbosch, on 021 888 6000. Experian says there are no walk-in consumer services: on-site consumer enquiries are not available at any Experian office, so use WhatsApp or Up rather than visiting.
