We do not publish direct telephone numbers or personal email addresses for named individuals, including bank employees and executives. This page therefore carries no personal contact details, and it will not carry them if you ask.
The reason is not squeamishness. A named person’s direct line, published on a directory page that ranks in search, becomes the number a stranger uses to impersonate them, and it becomes the number an angry customer phones at eleven at night about an account that person has no access to. Neither helps you, and both harm someone who did not choose to be listed.
ContactDetails.co.za is an independent directory. We are not FNB, we cannot put you through to anyone there, and we have no relationship with any individual named in a search query.
What you probably need instead
Almost everyone searching for a named person at a bank wants one of five things, and four of them are answered faster by the bank’s own channels than by any individual.
| What you are trying to do | Where it actually goes |
|---|---|
| An account, a card, a payment or a dispute | The bank’s own service channels. An individual executive has no access to your account and will route you back to them anyway. |
| A complaint that has stalled | The bank’s complaints team, in writing, with your existing reference number. Escalating to a named person before the complaints process has run usually restarts the clock rather than shortening it. |
| Fraud on your account | The bank’s 24 hour fraud line. This is the only genuinely urgent category, and it is the one where going to an individual costs you the most time. |
| Media, sponsorship or partnership enquiries | The bank’s media or corporate affairs office, which exists for exactly this and is a published channel. |
| Confirming that someone who contacted you is real | The bank’s published number, dialled by you. Never the number the person gave you. |

If someone claiming to be a bank employee has contacted you
- Do not verify them using anything they gave you. A name, a job title, an employee number and a callback number are all trivially easy to invent, and a convincing one is the point of the exercise.
- End the call and dial the bank yourself, on the number on its own website or the back of your card. If the person was genuine, nothing is lost by phoning back.
- Never move money to a “safe account”. No bank has ever needed a customer to do this. It is the single most reliable indicator that a call is fraudulent.
- Never share a one time PIN, a password, a PIN or a CVV, and never install remote access or screen sharing software because a caller asked you to.
- If you have already paid or shared details, phone the fraud line immediately and say so in the first sentence. Speed is the only thing that helps at that point.
Complaints and escalation
Raise it with the bank’s complaints team first, in writing, and keep the reference number. If it is not resolved, take it to the National Financial Ombud on 0860 800 900, the scheme that now handles banking, credit, life insurance and non-life insurance complaints in one place. The service is free to consumers, and the bank must have had a chance to answer first, which is why the reference number matters.

Frequently asked questions
Will you publish a direct number if I ask?
No. The rule applies to everyone equally, and it applies whether the request comes from a customer, a journalist or the person themselves. Organisational contact routes are published here; personal ones are not.
Is it not public information if it appears elsewhere?
A number circulating on a third-party site is not a reason to republish it, and it is not evidence that the person consented to it being listed. We publish contact details taken from an organisation’s own official channels, which is a narrower and more reliable standard.
How do I reach a senior person about a complaint that has stalled?
Use the bank’s own escalation path and ask, in writing, for the matter to be escalated and for the name of the department handling it. If that fails, the National Financial Ombud on 0860 800 900 has statutory standing that no individual executive’s inbox does.
Can ContactDetails.co.za pass a message on?
No. We are an independent directory with no access to any bank’s systems and no relationship with its staff.
Contact routes on this page were checked against FNB’s own published contact pages on 20 August 2026. If a detail has changed, the official source is always the authority.
