Save the fraud number before you need it
This is the one that matters. 087 575 9444 reports a fraudulent email, call or message, and FNB publishes +27 11 369 2924 for reporting from outside South Africa.
Save it now rather than searching for it mid-incident. In a live fraud, minutes decide whether a transfer can be stopped, and that is precisely when people search the web and find a fake number.

Why no branch number exists
South African banks route calls to national centres rather than to branch floors. Any “FNB Hatfield” direct number on a directory site is unverified, and we do not republish those.
That matters more for a bank than for a restaurant. A fake bank number is the entire mechanism of vishing fraud: you call it believing it is your bank, and hand over the details that empty your account. Use the numbers on fnb.co.za, or the ones inside the FNB app, and nothing else.
For a branch visit, FNB publishes a branch locator and a “book a branch visit” facility on its own site. Hatfield is in Pretoria, on the 012 code, though that will not help you here since no branch line is published.
The bank will never ask you for these
Your PIN, your full card number, an OTP, or your online banking password. No genuine bank employee asks for any of them, on any channel, for any reason.
The bank will also never ask you to move money to a “safe account”. That instruction is fraud, every time, without exception. If a call is going that way, end it and dial 087 575 9444 yourself.
