What this organisation provides
Europcar South Africa is a division of Motus Group Limited (registration number 1983/009088/06) and says it has more than 100 branches. It rents cars for leisure and business travel, including airport branches, long-term rentals, delivery and collection at some branches, and a separate Europcar Van Rental division for commercial vehicles. Its Drive Club gives members discounted rates.
A few rental rules affect when you need to call. Europcar’s terms say that after an accident you must give it a police accident case or reference number within 24 hours of the incident, or of receiving it from the police. Europcar may charge a claims administration fee and an assessor’s fee. For cross-border rentals, one-way service, roadside assistance and replacement vehicles are not available in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Mozambique.
