UJ’s Late Enquiries page also sends applicants to the UJ call centre on 011 559 4555 to check an application status, or when they have forgotten their iEnabler PIN or password. UJ does not publish call centre operating hours on its Contact Us page. For status checks, UJ says you do not need to visit a campus.

UJ banking details
UJ’s Banking Details page gives the tuition fee account as: account name UJ Tuition Fee, bank First National Bank (FNB), cheque account, account number 62 615 873 199, branch code 210 554. The reference must be your student number only. UJ says the account is a predefined beneficiary on the major banks’ platforms: search “University of Johannesburg – Student Number” on Capitec, “University of Johannesburg” on Standard Bank, “UJ Tuition Fees (fnb)” on FNB, “UJ Tuition Fee” on Nedbank and “UJ FNB TUITION FEE ACCOUNT” on Absa. You can also pay at any FNB branch, or deposit cash at an FNB cash-accepting ATM through the cardless services option.
People without a UJ student number but with a South African ID or passport number use the FNB UJ Bursary account, number 626 158 73280, branch code 210 554 (FNB Client Services Branch), listed as the predefined beneficiary “UJ BURSARY ACCOUNT”. UJ also offers instant online payments through its uLink portal. Always confirm banking details on uj.ac.za before paying.
