Csd Contact Details
The Central Supplier Database (CSD) national support desk is on 012 406 9222 and csd@treasury.gov.za, and every province has its own CSD desk at its provincial treasury. These details were read on the official CSD portal, secure.csd.gov.za, on 16 September 2026.
ContactDetails.co.za is an independent directory. We are not National Treasury or the CSD, and we cannot see, edit or verify a supplier profile.

The portal does not publish call centre hours, a WhatsApp number or a separate line for tracking an application. The Western Cape mailbox is on the capetown.gov.za domain exactly as the CSD’s own provincial contacts page lists it. There is also a “Provide Feedback” option in the portal menu.
Services and responsibilities
The CSD is the government’s single database of organisations, institutions and individuals that can supply goods and services to the state. It has been the source of supplier information for organs of state since 1 April 2016, and it is run under National Treasury’s Office of the Chief Procurement Officer. Supplier details are verified with bodies such as SARS, the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission and Home Affairs, so a mismatch with those records often has to be fixed at the source body first.
Registration is a two-stage self-service process. First you create a CSD user, activate it from the emailed link and request an OTP by SMS. Then you log in, add the supplier, complete the tabs (identification, industry classification, contacts, address, tax, directors or members, associations, commodities, notifications and B-BBEE) and submit. Registration is complete once you receive a supplier number and a 36-digit unique registration reference number. With those two numbers you can view your registration report under Report, then Registration.
You log in with your email address and password. The login page has options for a forgotten password, resending the activation email and changing an incorrect email address. The CSD warns that bank account verification can take up to four days, so capture banking details well before you need to be paid.

The CSD lists these walk-in centres:

- Eastern Cape Provincial Treasury: Tyamzashe Building, Phalo Avenue, Bhisho
- Limpopo Provincial Treasury: 56 Paul Kruger Street, Polokwane
- Mpumalanga Provincial Government: Building No 4, Lower Ground Floor, 7 Government Boulevard, Mbombela
- KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Treasury: Treasury House, 145 Chief Albert Luthuli Road, Pietermaritzburg
- Northern Cape Provincial Treasury: 1st Floor, Metlife Towers, Post Office Building, corner of Knight and Stead Streets, Kimberley
No walk-in centre is listed for Gauteng, North West or the Western Cape, and none is listed in Durban or Johannesburg. Suppliers in Johannesburg should use the Gauteng CSD desk, and suppliers in Durban the KwaZulu-Natal Treasury desk or its Pietermaritzburg walk-in centre. Suppliers in Pretoria can use the National Treasury centre at Church Square.
Applications and escalation
- Check the Overview tab in your profile for outstanding information before you contact anyone.
- Contact your provincial CSD desk or the national desk with your supplier number and unique registration reference number.
- Report phishing or suspicious CSD emails to csd@treasury.gov.za or 012 406 9222, as the CSD asks.
- Report tender fraud or corruption to the National Anti-Corruption Hotline on 0800 701 701, published by the Public Service Commission.
The CSD says it will never ask for banking details by post, email or SMS, will not send links to other websites, does not send .htm or .html attachments and will never ask for credit card details. It names fake emails from csd@treasury.co.za as an example of a scam address: the real domain ends in gov.za. It also warns about fake requests for quotations. Before responding to one, phone the department using the contact details on that department’s own website.
