Hazyview is a Kruger gateway, and that shapes the booking
The town sits below the escarpment on the R40, and most guests are there to reach either the Kruger National Park gates or the Panorama Route. Which one you are doing decides how early you need to leave.
- Kruger gates open at set times that change with the season, and arriving before opening means waiting. Confirm the gate you intend to use and its hours.
- Park entry is a separate fee payable at the gate, not part of your accommodation.
- The Panorama Route runs the other way, up the escarpment, and cloud builds against it through the morning. Those viewpoints are a first thing trip.
