Kalahari Anib Lodge is booked through Gondwana Collection Namibia on +264 61 427 200, with reservations on [email protected]. The lodge lies about 30km north east of Mariental on the C20, inside the private Gondwana Kalahari Park.

The lodge publishes no direct telephone number of its own. That is how its operator chooses to run bookings, not a gap in this page. Everything below is the route that genuinely reaches it.

We are a directory and have no involvement in your reservation. Rooms, rates, changes and refunds are entirely between you and Gondwana Collection.

Why there is no number for the lodge itself

Gondwana Collection runs its properties on central reservations out of Windhoek instead of letting each lodge take its own bookings. Some practical consequences follow from that.

Three separate places share the Kalahari Anib name

This trips up bookings regularly. Gondwana operates Kalahari Anib Lodge, Kalahari Anib Campsite and Kalahari Anib Camping2Go on the same property, and each is sold as a different product at a different rate.

The lodge is chalet accommodation. The campsite is your own tent on a serviced stand. Camping2Go is a pre pitched unit for travellers carrying no gear. Name the one you want when you book, because confirming the wrong product is easy and you are a long way from anywhere to sort it out on arrival.

Getting there

Paying, and what currency to carry

The Namibian dollar is pegged one to one with the rand, and rand is accepted across Namibia. The reverse is not true. Namibian dollars are not accepted in South Africa, so spend or change them before you cross back rather than carrying them home.

Ring +264 61 427 200 and read the account number aloud before sending any deposit. Booking correspondence is a standing target for invoice interception, where an emailed account number is quietly swapped for someone else’s. Money sent over a border is considerably harder to recall than a local payment, so the verification call is worth the international rate.

Note which country’s law covers you. South Africa’s Consumer Protection Act, and the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud that enforces it, reach suppliers trading in South Africa. A lodge operating in Namibia sits outside that reach, so neither is available to you here. An unresolved dispute goes to Gondwana Collection’s Windhoek head office, or to whichever platform took your booking. This page deliberately names no Namibian complaints body, because we have not confirmed which one has jurisdiction and a confident wrong answer is worse than none.
