FNB Law on Call Contact Details

Law on Call is the FNB legal cover product. It runs on one number with a menu, and the business version keeps separate mailboxes for sales, claims and administration.

Product or service support

The product provides legal advice and cover rather than a bank service, so the claims route is the one to use when you actually need a lawyer, not the general banking line. Policy administration for the business product goes to LOCBiz@fnb.co.za, and FNB also publishes LOC@fnb.co.za and LOCClaims@fnb.co.za as Law on Call addresses.

Eligibility, account or policy requirements

Law on Call sits alongside FNB Life and FNB Short Term Insurance, which are separate products on 087 312 0001. Life business sales go to fnblifebusiness@fnb.co.za, short term insurance claims to fnbsticlaims@fnb.co.za, policy changes to fnbstiservicing@fnb.co.za and sales to fnbinsurancesales@fnb.co.za. FNB Insurance Brokers is different again, at fnbinsurancebrokers@fnb.co.za.

Escalation route

Because option 2 on the menu is specifically claims and legal advice, choosing it goes straight to the people who can act rather than to policy administration. From outside South Africa, dial +27 11 371 3711 first and enter the 087 number when prompted. A complaint about the product goes to care@fnb.co.za first; an unresolved insurance complaint goes to the National Financial Ombud on 0860 800 900, with advice at the point of sale going to the FAIS Ombud.
