Official BUCO head office route
For corporate or head office matters, call 021 065 4100. BUCO is part of The Building Company, and the group’s Corporate Support Office uses the same number, written on the group site as +27 (21) 065 4100, with the email info@thebuildingco.com.
Head office is not the place for everyday customer problems. BUCO sends customer queries to its Customer Engagement Center on 0861 1 SHARE (0861 174 273) or customercare@buco.co.za.
BUCO describes itself as the leading manufacturer of roof trusses in South Africa, with Mitek-certified truss plants. It runs a separate Roof Trusses Quote form on its website.
What you need before contacting BUCO
Decide first whether your query is about a store, an order or a delivery, or whether it is a corporate matter. Store and order issues go to the Customer Engagement Center, which is quicker than head office for those.
If you use the online contact form, you must choose a topic and select your store, so have the branch name ready. The form then routes store-specific queries to the right branch.
Step-by-step contact process
- For order, delivery or store problems, call the Customer Engagement Center on 0861 174 273 or email customercare@buco.co.za.
- Or submit the contact form on buco.co.za/contactus/, choosing a topic and your store.
- For corporate or head office matters, call 021 065 4100.
- For a specific branch, look it up on the store locator at buco.co.za/find-a-store/.
Escalation route
BUCO does not publish a separate escalation line. If a store or the Customer Engagement Center has not resolved your problem, take it to head office on 021 065 4100, or write to The Building Company’s Corporate Support Office at info@thebuildingco.com.
If you plan to post a letter or visit, note that the address differs slightly between the two sites. BUCO gives the 2nd Floor, Execujet Building, Tower Road, Cape Town International Airport, 7490, while The Building Company’s site gives the 1st Floor of the same building with the postal code 7525.
For other hardware and home stores, see the retail hub or the retail directory B listings.
