Sleepmasters is a bed and mattress retailer trading as part of Pepkor. The contact details below were read from sleepmasters.co.za on 2 September 2026.
Official contact channels
- Toll free: 0800 222 888
- WhatsApp: 066 189 8044
- Data privacy and POPIA: Pepkor Information Officer, [email protected] or 0860 900 100
0860 900 100 is Pepkor’s Information Officer line, not Sleepmasters customer service. It appears on the site beside the contact form, and it is easy to dial by mistake. Use it for a data request or a privacy question; use 0800 222 888 for an order, a delivery or an account.
Sleepmasters publishes no general customer service email address – the toll-free line, WhatsApp and the on-site contact form are the routes.
What this organisation provides
Sleepmasters sells bed sets, mattresses, bedroom furniture, headboards, bedding and nursery furniture, carrying Sealy, Restonic, Cloud Nine, Serta, Edblo, Rest Assured and Cozy Nights alongside its own label.
It publishes separate catalogues for South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Eswatini. Prices, stock and delivery differ between them, so check you are on the right catalogue before quoting a price back to a store.
Buying options include a store account, lay-by, credit, Mobicred, Payflex and Pay Just Now. Lay-by and loan accounts have their own payment routes, listed separately on the site – paying a lay-by through the wrong channel is a common cause of a payment not reflecting.
Address and operating information
Sleepmasters does not publish a head office street address on its site. Branches are found through its Store Locator, and a store is the right first stop for anything involving a physical bed – a delivery dispute, a warranty inspection or a return.
The registered trading entity is Pepkor Trading (Pty) Ltd t/a Sleepmasters, which is the name to use in any formal letter or legal notice.
Support and escalation routes
Sleepmasters runs dedicated flows rather than one support queue: Log a Repair for a fault, Returns and Refunds for sending something back, and Track Order for a delivery. Starting in the right one creates the reference the call centre will ask for.
The 120-Nights Sleep Happy Guarantee is a comfort guarantee, not the same thing as your legal rights. The Consumer Protection Act separately gives you six months to return goods that are defective, unsafe or not fit for purpose, and that right stands regardless of any guarantee period a retailer advertises.
The site also carries a Data Security Incident notice in its footer. If you received a notification about your personal information, the Information Officer contacts above are the route, not the customer service line.
Escalate an unresolved dispute past the store and the call centre to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud, or to the National Consumer Commission for a breach of the Act. A credit agreement dispute goes to the National Credit Regulator, and a personal information complaint to the Information Regulator – all free to use.
