Superbalist call centre hours

Superbalist’s Customer Service team answers 087 362 7300 on weekdays from 08:00 to 17:00. On public holidays the call centre opens for a shorter window, 10:00 to 13:00, and it is closed only on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. The call centre is not open on weekends, according to the hours on the contact page and in the FAQ. Superbalist’s FAQ says the website itself never closes, so you can shop 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and queries sent through the Contact Us form are answered by agents within 24 hours. If you call close to 17:00, have your order number and the email address on your account ready so the agent can find your order quickly.

Using the Superbalist contact form

The “Get in touch with us” form asks what’s on your mind, which department the query is for, and the details of the query, which Superbalist asks you to make as specific as possible. It also asks whether you are contacting Superbalist about an order, then your name, email address and phone number, and you must complete a reCAPTCHA check before you can send it. If your query is about an order, have the order number ready, and choose the department carefully so it reaches the right team. For a return, you do not need the form: log the return in your account.

Returns, exchanges and refunds

Superbalist’s returns policy lets you return an unwanted product that is unused and undamaged, with its original labels and packaging, if you log the return on the website within 30 days of delivery or collection, or within 7 days for products marked “Clearance”. After that, you can return a product only if it is defective, within 6 months. Your first return of an unwanted or “not what you ordered” product is free: log a collection request on the website, or drop it at a Takealot Pickup Point. Extra items from the same order can be dropped at a Takealot Pickup Point for free, or collected for a collection fee deducted from your refund.

Fashion and footwear can be exchanged for a different size at the same price, with collection and delivery at no charge. Once a return is validated, Superbalist credits your account within 8 days, or refunds you if you prefer, and says refunds can then take several working days to reflect. The policy excludes electronic vouchers, books, intimates, lingerie, swimwear, bodysuits and underwear, jewellery for piercings, used beauty products or fragrances, food and drink, and personalised products unless defective. If you returned the wrong item, contact Superbalist immediately, because it disposes of incorrect returns.

Delivery and Click and Collect

Standard delivery takes two to four working days in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Pretoria, and up to seven working days for regional and remote areas. It costs R80 for orders under R750 and is free over R750. Premium same-day (order by 10:30), next-day and weekend delivery are offered in the main centres for R95 under R750 or R35 over R750, and heavy goods carry a R299 two-person delivery surcharge. Click and Collect orders are ready in two to four working days at pickup points open seven days a week, R40 under R750 and free over R750, with free collection at Richmond Park.

Where is Superbalist based?

Superbalist’s FAQ says its head office is in the Foreshore, Cape Town, with warehouses in Cape Town and Johannesburg, and that it delivers nationwide. The FAQ also says Superbalist is an online store without a physical store, but its current contact page lists a Superbalist Pop-Up Store at Menlyn Park Shopping Centre in Pretoria. Superbalist does not publish a head office phone number or street address, so use the call centre or the contact form for all customer queries.
