A TFG account is the store credit account used across The Foschini Group’s retail brands. The contact details below were read from the TFG Limited contact page on 31 August 2026.

Official provider route

Account enquiries and customer services are two different lines. Balances, statements, instalments, arrears and settlement figures go to 0860 037 755. Orders, deliveries, returns and store issues go to 0860 834 834. Calling the wrong one costs you a transfer.

Note the payments mailbox is on the foschini.co.za domain rather than tfg.co.za – that is correct and not a phishing sign, because the account book sits with the original Foschini entity.

Product or service support

One TFG account works across the group’s brands, which include Foschini, Markham, Sportscene, Totalsports, @home, Jet and the Bash online platform. That is why an account query is handled centrally rather than by the store where you shopped.

Have your account number and identity number ready. A TFG account is traced by account number, and a call without one usually ends with the agent unable to discuss the account at all for verification reasons.

Ask for the settlement figure rather than the balance if you intend to close the account. The two differ, and paying the balance shown on a statement can leave a small amount outstanding that continues to attract charges.

Eligibility, account or policy requirements

A TFG account is a credit agreement regulated by the National Credit Act, so it involves an affordability assessment and is reported to the credit bureaux. Missed instalments affect your credit record, not only your ability to shop.

If you are struggling to pay, contact the account line before falling into arrears and ask what arrangements exist. Under the National Credit Act you may also apply for debt review, but that is a formal process with consequences and should be understood before starting it.

Escalation route

Call centre hours: Monday to Saturday 08:30 to 21:00, Sundays 09:00 to 19:00. Those are long hours by South African retail standards, so there is rarely a reason to use an unofficial number.

Head office: Stanley Lewis Centre, 340 Voortrekker Road, Parow East, 7500, Cape Town. Postal: PO Box 6020, Parow East, 7501. Switchboard +27 21 938 1911.

Escalate an unresolved account matter in writing, quoting the reference already given. A credit dispute goes to the National Credit Regulator or the Credit Ombud, not the National Consumer Commission – the NCC handles goods and services, while an account is a credit agreement.
