0860 834 834 doubles as the WhatsApp self-service line. Saving it as a contact and messaging it is the quickest way to a balance or a statement summary without queueing.
Where to find your account number
Your account number is on your monthly statement. TFG sends a link to it by email or SMS every month, and the password to open it is the ID or passport number you used on the application.
If you have added the account card to your Bash Wallet in the app, the number and the last 30 days of transactions are under the TFG Money account card. The same view is on the website under Profile, once the card has been added on the app.
You can also request a statement summary on WhatsApp at 0860 834 834.
If linking the account fails with a “card not found” message, that is an account-linking problem rather than a store problem, and it goes to TFG customer services on 0860 834 834.

The two TFG sources disagree by half an hour at opening. Treat 08:30 on weekdays and 09:00 on Sundays as the safe assumption, since that is the later of the two.
Only the Bash side publishes public holiday hours for online support. TFG’s corporate page does not mention public holidays at all.
Totalsports no longer has its own website
totalsports.co.za now redirects to bash.com/totalsports. Bash is TFG’s shared online store, carrying Totalsports alongside the group’s other brands, so there is no separate Totalsports contact page or Totalsports call centre any more.
Click and collect on an online order is free for orders over R650 and is offered at more than 800 TFG stores, with collection inside three to five working days.
Collections use a one-time PIN sent to you. If the OTP does not arrive, or several arrive, that is a Bash support query rather than a store one.
Before you call
Have your ID number. The account is keyed on it, and it is also the password on your statement, so it identifies you on every channel.
Know whether the query is about money or about goods. TFG handles the account, Bash handles the order, and the two use different systems and different numbers.
