PEP Home is PEP homeware range, sold in PEP stores and online, rather than a separate company with its own call centre. One thing is worth saying plainly first: the domain pephome.co.za is not PEP.

A domain to avoid
- pephome.co.za is not operated by PEP. It resolves to a 1-grid domain-registration holding page with no PEP content on it at all
- Its TLS certificate is expired and, more tellingly, is issued to an entirely different domain, adriaans.com
- A browser will warn you before loading it. Do not enter an account number, an identity number or card details on any site that throws a certificate warning
- PEP official addresses are pepstores.com for shopping and pepkor.co.za for the parent group
What the homeware range covers
- Bedroom: duvets and covers, sheeting, blankets and comforters, pillows and bedroom accessories
- Bathroom: towels, bath mats and bathroom accessories
- Kitchen and general home appliances
- Stock differs by store, and the online range is not identical to what a given branch carries. Check the store finder or phone customer care before travelling for a specific item
Accounts, layby and returns
- A PEP account is a credit agreement. Balance and instalment queries go to customer care or the WhatsApp line rather than to a store till
- Keep the till slip for a return. Homeware returns on bedding and towels are usually conditional on the packaging being unopened
- For a complaint PEP does not resolve, the National Consumer Commission is on 012 065 1940
- For a credit agreement dispute, the National Credit Regulator is on 0860 627 627
