What PEP Cell sells
PEP Cell’s online store sells cellphones from Apple, Hisense, Honor, Huawei, Itel, Mobicel, Motorola, Nokia, OPPO, Realme, Samsung, Stylo, Tecno, Vivo and Xiaomi. You can filter phones by network (Vodacom, Cell C, Telkom, MTN or any network) and by price, from under R1,000 to over R4,000. It also sells laptops and tablets, tech accessories and decoders. FoneYam contract phones have their own page on pepcell.com.
PEP Cell online orders
- You can only order online at pepcell.com. PEP Cell does not take orders by phone.
- Orders over R500 ship free. Delivery takes 3 to 5 days, excluding weekends and public holidays.
- After payment you receive an email, SMS or WhatsApp confirming the order. Once you have paid, you cannot change or cancel the order, but you can return unwanted items.
- Gift cards and vouchers received in store can only be used in store, not online.
Faulty phones, returns and repairs
- Out of Box Failure (OBF): within 7 days of collection, you can return a faulty phone to any PEP, PEP Cell or PEP Home store. If staff find no physical damage, you get a refund to the payment method you used. Stores do not swap the phone for a new one.
- 12-month repair guarantee: after the 7 days, take the phone to any PEP store to be booked in for assessment with the network service provider. The guarantee is void if the phone is physically damaged, has been repaired by anyone other than the network service provider, or you cannot show proof of purchase.
- Repair quotes: if the assessment finds physical damage, you get a quote. If you reject the quote on an out-of-warranty repair, you pay a rejection fee to cover courier costs.
- Refunds: online refunds can take up to 14 working days to reach your card. PEP Cell does not do exchanges.
Bring the original packaging, accessories and proof of purchase when you return a phone. You cannot return an in-store purchase online.
