Agrinet is a wholesale supplier and distributor to hardware retail, specialist industrial and irrigation markets. It trades from two branches and publishes a number and a mailbox for each. It does not sell to the public, which is the first thing to know before you dial.

Two small things worth noticing. The Bellville mailbox is belbestel, from the Afrikaans for order, so it is an ordering address rather than a general enquiry one. And Agrinet own site gives the Bellville street as Emerald Street in one place and Emerald Road in another; a courier is better off with the industrial park name and the suburb than with either version alone.
It is a wholesaler, so you need an account
Agrinet sells to trade, and its site is built around that: there is an open account application, a credit facility, a buyer dashboard, self-help quotes, order plan lists and a billing portal. A member of the public phoning to buy a single item will be referred to a stockist. If you are a retailer or an installer, apply for the account first, because almost nothing on the site works without one.
The price list is not published openly either. It is requested through a form, and that request is the normal opening move for a new trade customer.
What Agrinet actually distributes
Ten specialist categories, and knowing which one your product sits in gets you to the right person immediately. The house brands are a useful shorthand:

- Plumbing and welding: Belatori, SouthPro, UniTwist, Xtend, Strike-Arc
- Irrigation: Pascali, Speroni, Torrenti, Rovatti, Apex Valves and a long pump range
- Electrical, garden, outdoor, automotive, paint, footwear, power products, household, livestock and personal protective equipment
Irrigation is the category where Agrinet publishes real technical support, including an Orbit irrigation design tool and a pump selection programme on its own site. Work through those before phoning about pump sizing, because the branch will ask for the numbers those tools produce.
Catalogues and stock information
Agrinet publishes divisional catalogues and PDF catalogues, a virtual showroom, planograms and a newly listed section. Quoting a catalogue code in an email is far faster than describing a product, and it removes the risk of being sent the wrong variant.
Returns and warranty
There is a formal request for return process on the site rather than an informal one at the counter. Use it, and keep the invoice number: a wholesale return is processed against the account it was sold to, not against the person standing in the doorway.
