Netstar 24-hour emergency number
Netstar’s contact page puts its emergency number, 0800 11 22 22, at the top of every page, and the “Call Me” button on the contact page dials that same number. It is a toll-free 0800 line. Use it for a theft or hijacking, not the support centre, because reporting quickly gives the recovery team the best chance. Save it in your phone now, alongside your vehicle registration and Netstar account number. Netstar’s Companion bundles also include 24/7 roadside assistance and Hijack Assist, used through the Netstar Companion app.
Netstar WhatsApp number: the Service Bot
Netstar’s WhatsApp number is 0860 12 24 36. If you have a Netstar contract, tap “Chat now” on the contact page or save the number and send “Hi” to open the menu. The Service Bot handles your account statement, invoices, fitment and test certificates, finding your vehicle’s location, upgrade options, account details, Netstar contact details, buying online and cancelling a contract. Insurers usually ask for the fitment certificate, so this is the quickest way to get one without calling.
Netstar call back request
Netstar’s contact page has a “Get in touch” form: fill it in and Netstar says it will contact you shortly. Choose the topic that matches your query: Products Support, Customer Services, Upgrade or Renewal, Buy Unit (Personal), or Buy or Request quote (Business). You will need to accept the privacy policy terms before submitting.
Netstar complaints email and complaints department
Netstar does not publish a complaints department, complaints number or complaints email on its contact, FAQ or legal pages. Send a complaint to the Customer Support Centre on 0860 12 24 36 or cs@netstar.co.za. Unethical conduct goes to the Altron Ethics Line on 08600 206 352.
Netstar accounts department
Netstar does not list a separate accounts or finance department number or email. Its FAQs route account matters through MyNetstar (my.netstar.co.za or the MyNetstar app), the Service Bot and the Customer Support Centre on 0860 12 24 36:
- Banking and personal details: update them in MyNetstar; business users without MyNetstar should speak to their account manager or call 0860 12 24 36.
- Invoices and statements: Netstar does not post or email them to debit order customers; download them from MyNetstar or ask the Service Bot.
- Payments: Netstar only accepts debit orders. If you need to make a payment, use the banking details on Netstar’s own FAQ page (netstar.co.za/netstar-faq) and quote your Netstar account number as the reference.
- Cancelling: call 0860 12 24 36 or email cancellations@netstar.co.za; business clients use fleetcancellations@netstar.co.za. Ending a 36-month rental contract early means paying a settlement.

Netstar cancellation email address and contact
Personal clients cancel by calling the Netstar Retention Department on 0860 12 24 36 (Option 1 for personal, then Option 2 for upgrades, change of ownership or cancellations) or by emailing cancellations@netstar.co.za. Business clients email fleetcancellations@netstar.co.za. If you are selling the vehicle, you can transfer the contract, end the agreement (early cancellation costs apply) or keep paying to the end of the term.
Netstar support and app help
Netstar’s FAQs cover the most common technical questions. Your vehicle should appear on the MyNetstar map within an hour of the unit being fitted and activated; if it does not, give feedback in MyNetstar or call 0860 12 24 36. If you do not receive an OTP when registering, wait a few minutes and try again, then call the support centre. Downgrades are done by phone, while upgrades can be done in MyNetstar under “Upgrade product”. Track a fitment booking at myfitment.netstar.co.za or email planning@netstar.co.za. Installation takes 45 minutes to 2 hours, at a Netstar fitment centre or as a mobile fitment at your home or office.
Netstar tracking device not updating
If your Netstar tracking unit is not updating, call 0860 12 24 36 as soon as possible, because a technician may need to be sent out. You also request a unit test on 0860 12 24 36.
Netstar Safe and Sound contact and MyNetstar registration
Safe and Sound was Netstar’s personal vehicle tracking app, and it has been replaced by MyNetstar. Safe and Sound users must re-register on MyNetstar at my.netstar.co.za by clicking the “Register” link and following the prompts. There is no separate Safe and Sound call centre: support is on 0860 12 24 36.
Netstar Basic, insurance and live tracking
Netstar Nano and Netstar Basic are stolen-vehicle-recovery products without live tracking; to get live tracking you upgrade to Netstar Plus or Early Warning. Netstar is not an insurer. Its FAQ says most South African insurers accept Netstar, customers get a fitment certificate for their insurer, and in many cases this brings a premium discount.

Netstar prints the Gqeberha number as “041 0010 890”; dialled, that is 041 001 0890. Netstar’s contact page does not publish branch trading hours, so phone the branch before visiting.
