One of those numbers is printed wrongly

Nedbank prints the Consumer and Healthcare desk as +327 10 217 8165. There is no country code +327. South Africa is +27, and every other desk on the same list is printed correctly.

Dialled from abroad exactly as printed, it will not connect. The number is 010 217 8165 locally, or +27 10 217 8165 internationally, which is what we have shown in the table above.

Which division you actually belong to

Nedbank splits business clients by annual turnover, and calling the wrong division wastes the call. The thresholds are published.

• Corporate and Investment Banking is for businesses with an annual turnover exceeding R750 million. Use the sector desk above that matches your industry.
• Commercial Banking is for businesses with an annual turnover between R10 million and R750 million, on 0860 555 333, or 010 217 4012 from abroad, with business@nedbank.co.za.

Below R10 million turnover, neither of these is your division, and the ordinary Nedbank business channels apply.

Note that two of the CIB desks are geographic rather than sectoral: Cape and KwaZulu-Natal. If your industry desk and your region both appear to apply, the sector desk is the more specific route.

Corporate Property Finance runs all hours

Nedbank lists Corporate Property Finance separately, marked All Hours, with a number per region.

These are the only corporate numbers Nedbank marks as available outside office hours.

The numbers are formatted inconsistently

Worth a warning if you are copying numbers off Nedbank’s published page. The grouping varies in ways that make numbers hard to read.

Gauteng property finance appears as “+27 112 944 444”, which is 011 294 4444. Beneficiary Solutions appears as “+27 800 220 290” and Executor Services as “+27 80 268 6430”, mixing an international prefix with a national toll-free number.

Drop the +27, restore the leading zero, and regroup in the standard South African pattern. We have done that in the lists above.
