Nedbank Corporate Credit Card Contact Details

Nedbank corporate cards are American Express products issued by Nedbank, and all three of them share one number. If you are holding a Corporate Gold, Corporate Green or Corporate Purchasing Card, 0860 102 191 is the line.

Corporate card numbers

• Amex Corporate Gold Card: 0860 102 191, or +27 10 217 4736 from abroad
• Amex Corporate Green Card: 0860 102 191, or +27 10 217 4750 from abroad
• Corporate Purchasing Card: 0860 102 191, or +27 10 217 4736 from abroad
• The three share a local number but have different international dialling numbers, which is the one place the products separate
• Amex Platinum Services, which is a personal rather than corporate product, is on 0800 004 244

Lost, stolen or compromised

• Lost and stolen cards: 0800 110 929, and +27 10 217 4330 if you are outside South Africa
• Report it yourself and immediately. Do not wait for a company travel administrator to do it in the morning, because liability runs until the card is stopped
• The same number reports fraud on the card
• Save the international number in your phone before you travel. It is the one you will need at the worst possible moment

Corporate cards work differently from personal ones

• The company is the account holder, not you. Statements, limits and disputes route through your employer card administrator, and Nedbank will usually not discuss the account with a cardholder alone
• A purchasing card is for supplier and procurement spend rather than travel and entertainment, and typically carries merchant category restrictions
• Personal liability varies by scheme. Ask your employer whether your card is corporate-liability or individual-liability, because it decides who chases you for a disputed item
• A corporate card query cannot be resolved on the personal credit card line, and vice versa

Disputes and escalation

• Raise a disputed transaction through the card line and your company card administrator at the same time, and get a reference from both
• Card scheme chargeback windows are short. Weeks matter, so do not let an internal approval process run the clock down
