Secunda in Mpumalanga is the site of Sasol’s largest South African operation. The contact routes below were read from the Sasol contact and ethics pages on 1 September 2026.
Local channels
Sasol does not publish a Secunda plant switchboard or a site-specific email address. Its contact page lists group and function-level routes only, and no Secunda operations page exists on sasol.com. That is the most useful thing to know before hunting for a local number – the routes below are the published ones.
- Group switchboard: +27 10 344 5000
- South African fuel customer queries and complaints: 0860 335 444
- Supplier management: 086 010 4777
- General queries: [email protected]
- Shared services: [email protected]
Treat any “Sasol Secunda” number found on a directory as unverified – it cannot be checked against Sasol’s own site, because Sasol publishes none.
Address
Sasol publishes no street address for the Secunda operation as a customer contact point. The site is a working petrochemical complex rather than a public office, and access is controlled – it is not somewhere to arrive without an appointment and a host.
Operating hours for the group switchboard are not published either.
Services at this location
Secunda is the home of Sasol’s synthetic fuels operation, converting coal and gas into liquid fuels and chemical feedstock. It is an industrial production site, not a retail or customer-service location.
Route your query by type rather than by place. A fuel or forecourt complaint goes to the retail queries line; an invoice, purchase order or vendor registration goes to supplier management; a job application goes through Sasol careers. None of these are answered at plant level, so a Secunda number would not help even if one were published.
Parent organisation
Secunda is an operation of Sasol Limited, the JSE-listed integrated chemicals and energy company. Media enquiries go to [email protected], sponsorships to [email protected], corporate social investment to [email protected] and enterprise and supplier development to [email protected].
To report unethical conduct, Sasol runs an independently operated EthicsLine. The South African number is 0800 016 017, and reports can also be emailed to [email protected]. Separate toll-free numbers exist for other countries.
Environmental concerns about emissions from the Secunda complex are regulated by the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment and the local air quality officer, not resolved through Sasol’s customer lines.
