Wentworth Hospital switchboard is not working. The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health posted a notice that the hospital is experiencing a telephone line failure caused by cable theft, and it has published direct departmental numbers to use instead. Its contact page no longer lists a main number at all, saying only to use the numbers below.

- Raise a complaint with the hospital first. KwaZulu-Natal hospitals nominate a Public Relations Officer for questions, complaints, suggestions and compliments.

- A complaint about the quality of care at a public or private health establishment escalates to the Office of the Health Ombud, which requires that you raise it with the facility first.
