IN MOBISOS Contact Details
“IN MOBISOS” on your bank statement is a monthly debit order for MobiSOS, a telephone-sold assistance package, and the safest way to stop or dispute it is through your own bank. MobiSOS is not an insurer or a medical scheme, and its website names no company, registration number or financial services provider number behind it, so we do not publish its contact numbers.
MobiSOS is also not related to InMobi, the advertising technology company.

Official contact channels
MobiSOS runs a website, mobisos.co.za, with a contact page, but the site does not name the legal entity that operates it and shows no company registration or financial services provider number. The site was last updated in 2021, and its customer testimonials praise a different brand, Rescue247. Those are warning signs, so this page does not route you to its phone line. Your bank can see who is collecting the money and can act on the debit order without you needing to reach MobiSOS first.
If someone calls you claiming to be from MobiSOS and asks for your ID number, banking details, card details or an OTP, do not give them.
What MobiSOS provides
According to its website, the MobiSOS package includes a 24-hour nurse line, 24-hour emergency medical assistance with transport arrangement, discounted GP, dentist and optometrist consultations, and legal assist. Its terms say the services can only be used by telephone. It is not insurance or regulated cover.
Payment is by monthly debit order on a date you nominate, and the terms say that if a debit fails, MobiSOS may try again on another date in the same month. That can mean more than one attempt shows on your statement.
Address and operating information
MobiSOS publishes no physical or postal address. Its site says emergency assistance for members runs 24/7, all year.
What to do about an IN MOBISOS debit order
- Check your bank statement. Note every IN MOBISOS deduction: the date, the amount and the exact reference.
- Decide whether you signed up. MobiSOS sells by telephone, so think back to any call offering nurse, emergency or legal assistance.
- Contact your bank. Use the number on the back of your bank card or in your banking app. Ask it to dispute and reverse the debits you did not authorise and to stop future collections.
- Report it as fraud if you never agreed. Tell your bank the debit order is unauthorised and ask for a reference number.
- If you did sign up and want to cancel, also give MobiSOS written notice. Its terms say either party may end the agreement for any reason on 20 business days’ written notice, sent by email to the support address on its website.
- Keep records. Save your statements, your cancellation email and the bank’s reference number.
Be aware that MobiSOS’s terms claim you cannot cancel the debit order without its prior written consent, and that it may keep money paid in advance if you end the agreement, subject to the law. Your bank can tell you what it is able to reverse.
Support and escalation routes
MobiSOS’s terms direct complaints to its customer service department by email. For an unauthorised debit, your bank is the stronger route: if the first agent cannot help, ask for the fraud or disputes department. For other cover providers, browse the insurance and medical aid hub or the insurance directory I to L listings.
