Old Mutual’s call centre for customer care and client services is 0860 933 333, answered Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00 and closed on Saturdays and Sundays. It is the phone number for existing policies and investments, and the line Old Mutual’s contact page sends customers to for anything that has no line of its own.

Before calling, Old Mutual suggests self-service: log in to its secure site or the Old Mutual App to apply for products, make withdrawals, submit claims, upload or download documents such as tax certificates, update personal details and beneficiaries, and manage payments.

Old Mutual Finance branches keep different office hours. Branches such as Mutual Park and Polokwane Mall of the North open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 08:00 to 17:00, Wednesday 09:00 to 17:00 and Saturday 08:00 to 13:00, and are closed on Sundays. Opening hours differ slightly from branch to branch (Mitchells Plain Town Centre opens at 08:30, for example), so check the branch’s own listing before you go.

Funeral Solutions, the burial service Old Mutual offers with its partner Two Mountains, has a toll-free number available 24/7, 0800 00 1919, and the email address queries@repatriations.oldmutual.co.za. Old Mutual asks families to call that number first when a death occurs, so that Two Mountains can guide them through the claim, the collection and care of the deceased and the burial arrangements.

Old Mutual claims and Greenlight contact number

Old Mutual’s claims page gives 0860 60 7000 for death, funeral and terminal illness claims and 0860 222 274 for other claims. Claim forms can be sent by email to contactus@oldmutual.com.

Greenlight is Old Mutual’s life, disability and funeral cover range. The Greenlight death and funeral claim form, published on oldmutual.co.za, gives +27 21 503 1802 from outside South Africa for claims questions, weekdays between 08:00 and 18:00, and to email service@oldmutual.com. The same form gives fax 021 509 2579 for submitting claim documents. Old Mutual’s main Contact Us page does not list a separate Greenlight line, so for anything other than a claim, such as changing cover, beneficiaries or premiums on a Greenlight policy, use the Service Centre on 0860 933 333, the Old Mutual App or your Old Mutual adviser.

Old Mutual Finance and loans contact number

To apply for an Old Mutual personal loan by phone, call 0860 000 866. You can also apply online, in a branch or via WhatsApp on 0860 933 333. For loan statements, visit a branch or call 0860 445 445. Old Mutual lends R2 000 to R250 000 over 3 to 72 months, at a maximum interest rate of 28% a year, with a once-off initiation fee and a monthly admin fee. You need to be 18 or older, a South African citizen, with 3 months’ bank statements not older than 7 days and your latest payslip. Credit life is compulsory for terms of 12 months or more. Old Mutual consolidation loans

For a debt consolidation loan, list the accounts you want settled. Once the loan is approved, Old Mutual pays them and issues a settlement letter. Apply online, in a branch or on 0860 000 866.

The Old Mutual Money Account closed at midnight on 31 August 2026, and Old Mutual points customers to OM Bank. Old Mutual funeral plan (EasiPlus)

For the EasiPlus funeral plan, call the Customer Service Centre on 0860 22 52 46. Claims can be submitted on the web, on WhatsApp or by USSD on *120*6672#. EasiPlus funeral cover runs from R10 000 to R70 000 with premiums from R39 a month, for up to 15 members including parents over 65, and Old Mutual aims to pay valid claims within 48 hours of receiving all documents. Old Mutual’s line for members of its group schemes and retirement or provident funds is the SuperFund Support Centre, which serves Old Mutual SuperFund members. Old Mutual is not a medical scheme for customers; its own employees have a separate staff scheme, covered below. Old Mutual Gap Cover, which needs active membership of a registered medical scheme, is on 0861 106 660 or oldmutualgap@kaelo.co.za. The Old Mutual Staff Medical Aid Fund (OMSMAF) contact number is 0860 100 076, or +27 11 208 1021, for claims and benefits enquiries. The call centre is open Monday to Friday 07:00 to 19:00 and Saturday 08:00 to 13:00, excluding public holidays, and the general email address is enquiries@omsmaf.co.za. OMSMAF is a closed medical scheme: membership is restricted to Old Mutual employees and it is not open to Old Mutual customers. It is administered by Universal Healthcare Administrators (Pty) Ltd and has its own website, omsmaf.co.za, and its own call centre, separate from the Old Mutual Service Centre on 0860 933 333.
